Uria Gan

Mr. Uria Gan is the CEO of Neve Malkishua Association, Israel's largest organization dedicated to the recovery, treatment, education, and rehabilitation of individuals with addictions. With 22 years of experience in addiction treatment and the management of therapeutic-educational systems, Uria is a recognized expert in his field and a former lecturer in welfare policy and addiction treatment at Western Galilee College.
He holds a bachelor's degree and a teaching certificate from Herzog College, as well as master's degrees in Jewish philosophy and education from Ben-Gurion University.
During his fellowship, Uria plans to focus on research in data-driven treatment methods. He aims to integrate neurobiological and psycho-social factors to develop personalized treatments, combining medication-assisted therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, family-based interventions, and community support. Uria is also committed to finding effective interventions for behavioral addictions. Through these initiatives, he seeks to enhance addiction treatment, improve patient outcomes, and deepen our understanding of addiction dynamics for the benefit of Israeli society and people worldwide.
