Dr. Anirudh Gaurang Gudlavalleti

Dr. Anirudh Gaurang Gudlavalleti, from India, has a bachelor of science degree in dentistry, a master’s degree in social entrepreneurship, and is currently completing a PhD in public health from Maastricht University. In 2024, Mr. Gudlavalleti, who is passionate about community health, founded Pragyaan Sustainable Health Outcomes Foundation (PRASHO). He is keenly interested in utilizing technology and a community health worker coaching approach to detect and treat diabetes, cancers, and eye diseases in India’s villages. PRASHO advances evidence-based interventions in the field of public health and disability, fostering healthier communities through strategic partnerships and innovative approaches. Its mission is to lead a transformative shift in healthcare and social development by generating, synthesizing, and promoting the use of evidence-based interventions.
To date, Mr. Gudlavalleti has won grants from several sources that helped him to develop a prototype for an AI diabetes screening tool. His work has led DBS Bank to name him one of Asia’s 50 leading social entrepreneurs.
During his fellowship, Anirudh will focus on leadership and technical skills that will help him advance the mission of PRASHO. These include sharpening his project-leadership skills, health-economics and budget-impact analysis skills, grant-writing and partnership-negotiation skills while working with mentors, faculty, peers and university partners.
